Join the Team – Let’s build a field together
Buddy Baseball is in the process of a capital campaign to raise money to build two synthetic turf fields for our children to play on. Our first field is complete. Several of our players are in wheelchairs and walkers. These fields will be wheelchair accessible and safer to play on for all the players.
There currently are no fields of this kind in Hillsborough County that are handicapped accessible. With the growth of our league, more fields are needed. These new fields will also encourage other children who have mobility issues to play Buddy Baseball.
The fields will be built on the current Buddy Baseball fields at the Temple Terrace Recreation Complex. The school district and the special needs community can also use these fields.
