Q. When will the next season start?
A. October 9 – November 13, 2010

Q. What is the cost for registration?
A. $45 for the Players, no charge for the Buddies, Coaches and Volunteers, but they will have to fill out a Registration Form

Q. When is the deadline for registration?
A. Friday September 17, 2010
 

Q. What is a “special need?”
A. Anything where a player may need some support to experience success and fun in the game: physical, intellectual, psychological, social, neurological, motoric, etc.
  
Q.  When will the Players, Buddies and Coaches meet?
A.  At the “Meet and Greet” on Saturday October 2, 2010.  Time and place to be determined.

Q. Will there be training for the Buddies and Coaches?
A. Yes, after the Meet and Greet

Q.  Will the Coaches have background checks done?
A.  Yes

Q.  How long are the games?
A.  About one hour.

Q. Will there be practices?
A. Yes, all practices will be 15 – 20 minutes before the game.  We will not have a practice on a separate day.

Q.  What are the game times?
A.  The game times will change from week to week, but the game times will be 1:00, 2:15 or 3:30.

Q.  How many players are on a team?
A.  5 to 6, depending on how many players we have.

Q.  Where will the games be played?
A.  At the Temple Terrace Recreation Complex softball fields.  6610 E. Whiteway Drive, Temple Terrace, FL  33617.  (Fields are behind Lewis Elementary)

Q. Do I have to have a Temple Terrace Recreation Complex membership to play?

A.  No

Q.  I do not live in Temple Terrace or Hillsborough County, can we still play.

A.  Yes, we have no restrictions on where you live.

Q.  How do I sponsor a team?
A.  Go to the “Sponsorship” page.  Sponsorship opportunities are $250.

Q.  I don’t want to sponsor a team, but I do want to make a donation.  How do I do that?
A.  Go to the “Donations” page for instructions.
 
Q. Will my child get a uniform?
A. Absolutley.  All players will get a T-Shirt with their team name and number on the uniform.
 
Q. Will there be practices?
A. Yes, all practices will be 15 – 20 minutes before the game.  We will not have a practice on a separate day.
 
Q. We don’t have any equipment, do I have to buy a glove, bat and helmet?
A. We will have bats and helmets.  We also have some ball gloves donated for the players to use.
 
Q. My child is in a wheelchair, can they play too?
A. Yes
